Definition and Application

This kind of valve that is opened and closed through 1/4th of the round. It is of Plug Style Valve. This valve is used to disconnect or connect water flow before entrance door of the property for management purpose. Moreover, this type of valve is used when something happens between curb valve and water meter box. Also, it provides the possibility of providing and production by five-layer couplings (PEX-Al-PEX Pipe) as well.

The place for installation

This type of value is installed outside the subscriber’s property, hidden beneath the cell.

Key Points

At the time of installation, more attention should be paid to the direction of flash on the meter. The valve cap should be in upward direction. To disconnect and connect water, first, slight taps should be made on the valve cap. Then, the wrench should be turned for 90 degrees clockwise.
