Flange Socket (Polyethylene pipe)
Definition and Application
It is used to flange poly ethylene pipes and to connect flanged valves and fittings. Flange standard according to DIN EN 1092. Dimensions standard according to ISO 2531. Casting standard according to DIN EN 1693.
Key points
When using this kind of flange, the surface of the cut section of the pipe is better to be smooth and vertical. Flat or patched rubber gaskets are used to seal the flanged parts. To seal the bolted part where the pipe enters the interior couplings, bolted gland gasket with bolted gland is used. It enjoys bentoniti/primer/bitumen cover as per the order placed by customers to prevent corrosion.
