Definition and Application
It is used as a connector to connect two valves and repair of valve at the time of burst. Dimensions standard according to ISO 2531. Casting standard according to DIN EN 1693.
Key points
When using this kind of flange, the surface of the cut section of the pipe should be smooth and vertical. To seal the bolted part where the pipe enters the interior couplings, bolted gland gasket with bolted gland is used. It enjoys bentoniti/primer/bitumen cover as per the order placed by customers to prevent corrosion.
